Dinner from 6:30-7:30 pm to allow for travel time

- Rain gear, just in case!
- Appropriate shoes for the terrain.
- A robe if you are in the dorms.
- Swimsuit if you plan on taking a dip in the lake. (Camp Ida-Haven requests no bikinis). The weather might be chilly, so if you do plan on participating in lake activities, you might want to bring a wetsuit.
Camp Essentials

Can I change my mind about staying in the dorms or a cabin?
You bet! We want everyone to be comfortable. There is room in most of the cabins still, and possibly another dorm room. Check with Lee; she has the list of where folks are staying, and can see where you could move to.
When will we know what workshops and demos are going to be available?

Workshops and demos are all facilitated by attendees. Once registration closes we start building the schedule. Once we have that worked out each attendee will receive an email with the following info:
- The time the workshop/demo is taking place
- The topic of the workshop/demo
- The facilitator’s name
- The material fees, if any (paid directly to the facilitator at the beginning of the demo/workshop)
- The homework, if any
- The location of the workshop/demo
- The time that we open the signups to attendees for the classes/workshops
The signups are done on Google Forms. If you are not able to access Google or are unfamiliar with using an online form please email FiberLoveRetreat@gmail.com and we can help you get registered.
The signup form will have the time frames identified, and a spot for you to tell us your first choice, second choice, etc.
Not everyone will get their first choice for every session. We try to make sure everyone who wants to participate gets the opportunity and it’s evenly distributed; sometimes that means you might get your number 2 choice, instead of number 1.
Once we’ve gotten all the classes/attendees placed you’ll receive an email with your schedule, if there is homework, if you need to bring any supplies and if there’s a materials fee. This will also be on your packet when you check in at registration.

How will I know where I am supposed to be, and what time, if I’m a volunteer?
There will be a sheet inside your packet with a description of what is needed for the task you volunteered for, where you’ll go, what time you need to be there, and who you’ll be helping.
